What is Hypnosis?
We all have times when we feel tired of the challenges that our lives present to us.
We are tired of feeling stuck, scared, frustrated—maybe even angry. We decide that
enough is enough, and we are going to make a change!
…starting tomorrow
How many times in your life did you feel that you are ready to make that change?
You feel motivated. You have the most logical reasons. You feel hopeful.
You swear that this time you are done and will respond differently! But, despite your best
intentions, you soon find out that somehow your old self has caught up with you.
Sounds familiar? I understand the disappointment because I have been there myself.
Making a real, long-lasting change in our lives by using the power of logical thinking
alone is not a simple task!
Why?
Because logical thinking is a function of the conscious mind which makes only 2-4% of our
total consciousness.
All our reactions stem from how we feel about things. Yet those feelings stem from the
subconscious mind, which is the larger part of our consciousness. That is the part that
contains our memories and past experiences. To create a real and permanent change, we
must shift the underlying beliefs, thoughts, and feelings.
Hypnosis allows access to that “feeling” part of the mind and can be used therapeutically
to help you reach your goals.
What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a totally safe, commonly experienced, natural state of mind that allows one to be more
open to changes. Through this process they are more easily able to alter the thoughts, beliefs,
and feelings that are preventing them from overcoming their ongoing personal challenges.
Hypnosis is NOT a mind control technique. The hypnotist cannot override your own will, or make
you accept suggestions that are not reflective of your moral values. It is NOT a truth serum
and will not make you disclose unwanted information.
